ASSOCIATION BOARD MEMBERS

  1. Those members acting as Board Members or under an appointment shall hold their positions for a two-year term initially to maintain continuity in the beginning; position will revert to an annual term of office thereafter.. This will allow for professional development and growth of fellow IDMTs.
  2. In the event a member of the Board changes his/her Command, it will be up to the Command Medical Manager to replace them and notify the Association of the change.
  3. The Board Members shall exercise the powers and perform the duties assigned to their office by the Constitution and Bylaws, be present at all meetings of the Executive Group.
  4. The Executive Group shall meet on a quarterly basis at times and places as shall be designated by the President. The Recorder shall call a special meeting upon the written request of the President, Advisor, or the majority of the voting members of the Executive Group. The President, or in his absence, the Vice-President, shall preside at all meetings of the Executive Group. If neither of said officers is present, the line of succession will determine who will act as Chairman protem of said meeting.
  5. One-quarter (1/2) voting members shall constitute a quorum of the Executive Group. Absent members shall be counted as present at special meetings, but only as to those matters with respect to which the vote, in writing, of such absent members, is received by the Recorder of the Association prior to the meeting.
  6. In addition to such powers as are specifically conferred upon it by the Constitution and Bylaws, the Executive Group shall be responsible for the general management of the affairs of the Association, and may make such regulations as it deems advisable, not inconsistent with the Constitution and Bylaws. It shall keep a record of its proceedings, which shall be published on the Association Home Page, open to inspection by the members.
  7. The President and Advisor shall have the power to appoint such subordinate officers as may be needed for the proper administration of the affairs of the Executive Group.
