In 1996, the year that the IDMT Association was conceived and then became a reality, I'm not sure I really thought it would still be in existence 13 years later.  Even better, you all have joined forces with our peers/collegues in the USN (which, by the way, was one of our original goals).  Now it's time for the USA and Coast Guard to join us.  

Every time I see Founder attached to my name I sort of shudder, makes me feel way older than I actually am! Though I may have been the first to verbalize the concept, there were at least a dozen IDMTs (lead by Candy Frost) that took it on as a personal challenge and made it happen!  As with all organizations, there have been peaks and valleys along the way - mostly associated with OPSTemp.  

I am really looking forward to being in Charleston next May!  --Bob
